    Yes I beleieve it was a goodluck symbol in some cultures!The nazis turned it the wrong way round.

    Grille looks like it could be an Auburn and they had that style ornament but all the ones I could find swept forward.

    Wasn't that just off the boardwalk in AC? Stayed there on my honeymoon in '71! Saw the diving horse on the steel pier.
