That cars got good lines you could leave it and it would look cool. But if you wanna chop it make it look good and also so you can fit in it

No, there aren't enough tall coupes around. I think they are really cool and far too rare. But as all else will say.. Do it your way.

Well I don't care if you chop it or not....I don't understand why you would want to loose the fenders! You have three good ones and only one that needs repair. Get a dropped axle and set 16" wires or steelies and your golden! JMHO But hey, good luck with your project.

  14. Your car, but it's probably worth pointing out it's easier to change your mind and chop it later.

Plenty out there are both ways, if you want to be different you'd have to chop it on just one side... I don't know how well that would work.

Chop it!! If it's going to be a hotrod then it should be chopped! I don't know where these people come from that say model a's shouldn't be chopped. Thats ridiculous! This isn't a restoration site; it's a hot rod site. It's just a model a after all - so man up, got out you hacksaw and drop the top! Just my opinion.

  21. chop it if you're not too old to have a chopped hot rod...

Build the car first, if you want to chop it later that would be the time to do it IMO.

Go buy an old wasted 30's or 40's truck cab and practice on that. When you feel comfy with doing the chop then I say whack out 4" from it!

Ha Ha! Or........ just chop the rear!:D

    Actually I vote no chop.

  27. CHOP IT = 2 1/2" - 3" , put the 32 frame under it, run a flatmotor, have fun and be safe!

  28. I can't see chopping the top as the first step in any project. I change my mind so often about so many things during a project I could never chop first and build around that. Build the A model coupe of your dreams then stand back and look at it for a while. If it needs chopped it'll tell you. There used to be an A coupe here locally that just begged to be chopped but then I also remember another one that was chopped and just looked stupid.
