    The Bishops C.C. host the 10TH Annual Blessing of the cars Hotrod Show. Blessings by The one and only Reverend Jack Starting at high noon. Entertainment provided by The Shivering Denizens and the Rainieros. Pot luck BBQ, all donations go to Children's Hospital.

  4. can't wait!!! I fired up the generator in the alley this afternoon to make sure she was ready for the Blessing next week!!!! I can't think of a better way to spend Father's Day!

    i miss the one we use to have here in the valley, i think it made it 13 years till some dumb kids fucked it up for everyone. have fun guys!

    Got the 53 Desoto grill basically done and ready to bolt in. Ok, so I did not get paint done, but got it scheduled for July....

    BTW, this is a great event for a very worthwhile cause!

  18. Despite the fact that the weather refused to cooperate, we had a damned good time. The Rainieros and The Shivering Denizens rocked the Blessing (with all the rain it was more like a baptism), and a good time was had by all. Thanks to all the other clubs that came out and braved the weather!!!

    It looks like you all had a good time, despite the rain.
     
  22. We were afraid it was going to be a washout about 1pm, when the skies opened up for an hour. The hardcore held on, hid under tarps, swilled beer, and the rain eventually abated. The bands were able to set up, and we got the grill going, so the whole gig came back to life! Hey, it isn't WA without a little rain.
