1st time going to bttf, on saturday, as a spectator only, what's the best way to get in for public parking? Or should I do park and ride from one of the outer lots?

Actually the Mecum Auction moved down there this year so it will be fenced off for cars going through the auction.

  4. Park and Ride is much easier to get in and out of. If you don't mind a bit of a wait for the buses and such, it's my favorite way to spectate at the Fairgrounds during a big event.

If anyone is looking for a hotel room, I have one available at the Holiday Inn Roseville right off County Rd C. $105/night. I have Navy duty in CA, so I will not be able to attend this year.

  11. It's my first time this year... go easy on me fellas....

  12. SO have we decided where the meet and greet is going to be? Oh DW we are all ways easy on ya!

  13. That's brave. They ougth to have a great time.:) Kudos

  14. I think that's a great idea Terry. I was thinking of multiple day M & G. but at a set spot. I'm working on a banner to mark what ever place we deside. The Bandshell seemed to be popular but if behind Wings trailer, as suggested by Bob, is better, that works for me. If I set up from 11:00 til 2:00 does that work? I don't want to spend the whole time there but If people want to trade off thru the day that would be good.

My 15 year old son and I will be there; looks like Friday and Saturday. Will still only be civilians, as none of the projects have progressed any where far enough to drive there:(. Hopefully next year Adam and I will be stylin' and profilin' in the caddy powered '50 Chev p/u!! What times at band shell?

  20. I should be able to, where do they need to go !

  21. Last year we met at 12:00 on Sat. This year I'm gonna set up a home base spot around 11:00 and run until 2:00 or so. Friday Sat and Sunday.
That way HAMBers can come and go all day and just hang out if they want.
The Bandshell is still the spot unless someone else has a better idea.

    The answers are:
    "Yes you can"
    "No you cant"
"Right next to the red 32 Ford"
    "Close to the grandstand"
"Just a little ways off Snelling Ave"

Those should work for most any situation.

  28. please add "over 10,000 so far"
and '"they all get here at 3:00 and wait"

    follow the dropped cookie trail!
