black steel wheels

Normally if I'm running steelies I run black. I'm sure that it would take me days to find a pic.

Why run black steel wheels? because there are only two colors for steel wheels black or ugly.

I don't run white walls.

Here's mine. I'm three years into it, as of May 7th.

For me, black steelies rate pretty high on the traditional scale. They set off white sidewall tires very nicely, and above all, they're not red rims.

That whole rat rod thing killed the black primer-red wheels look, and now every "rat rod" on Craigslist is just beating it to death. But that's just my $0.01.

 

I like red wheels... but black primer, flat or satin black wheels just look terrible. Wheels need the shine man.

Agreed! Need the shine. And ... I don't hate red wheels 100 percent of the time, just almost.

I can think of some situations where they'd still look good.

 

Only shot i had on hand before i sold it but i loved the gloss black steels against the suede grey primer.

 

Have them on a couple of mine........
