That is COOL .. Did you start with a Wood Base first before the Plaster? And the Bubble top... How was that done? Very Cool...

I bought a bunch of bubbles from a place that went out of business before I moved out of New York, so I still have a few left. No wood bucks or foam boards here. I started with stacking milk crates then planks of wood on the frame. Then plaster spit wads to build a basic "buck"
I am making a DVD on how its all done start to finish if you are interested.
    it should be available soon!

My wife thinks I'm crazy enough already. I could just imagine what she'd think if she saw me out in the garage doing something like this. AWESOME!!

  23. I think everything looks great and i had the privilege of seeing your other car at a Rumblers show in Brooklyn. I just have one question about the front end setup. What keeps the the body from rolling when you turn? There is only one coil spring in the center or is it not done yet? Just wondering.

I have a shock under there someplace :)
I don't think its gonna get driven much to worry about any of that. A lot of 60's show cars were sporting only one coil spring up front.

I don't know. I usually just worry about getting into primer then I try to figure a color out. If i have a lot of one color on the shelf i'll use that. Right now there is to much other work to do to worry about color.
    But I do like gold

Put me down for a copy please...

Are there any books that come close to describing the process
your going thru to build the bodies?

I also loved seeing your car at TorqueFest.
