Just a quick update. I stopped by Jimmy's today (6-02-10) and he is hard at it. He has officially got exactly one week and one day. He wants to leave on thursday June 10th to debute it at Goodguys Indy. Will he make it? I hope so but he's got his work cut out . Here's a few pics. By the way He might have live woman for the photo shoot. Ha. Enjoy

Here's the nuts and bolts spread out on the floor for the assembly.

Every thing on this truck is supper straight and supper slick.

Here's a pic of one of the spinners for the hubcaps all detailed out.

Here's the dash that needs to be cleared yet. Then he hopes to have the Weez sign it.

If your gonna be at Goodguys Indy you owe it to yourself to check it out. Its truly amazing.

How did I miss this one? It's incredible just how similar the proportions are. I know it can be real easy to cheat a few things when creating a car strictly for canvas or paper, but this is a true testament to designer and builder alike.

Okay Got a little update. I was at Jimmys today and this is how it looks. The cab is on and the fluids are in the motor. The motor fired right up and sounded good. Not with out a few little hiccups though. Murphys law always applies. If things can go wrong they will. Still got a tremendous amount of work to do. After all he wants to leave thursday. Thats only two days left. Hopefully the troops will show up tomorrow and give a hand. Enjoy.

OK boys and girls. Here's your daily update. Been at Jimmy's all day and although it probably doesn't look like it we got some important and very time consuming things done. First off we got the roof skin on but before that we got all the wiper mechanism in place and in working order. Then we moved on to the headliner. Man you talk about a job. You got to have about 25 hands, hold you mouth just right, and what ever you do don't fart while you trying to put in the headliner. The fit on this thing is unbelievable. Two other well known hot rodders came out to help and they worked on things like the front brakes, wired the headlights, put on the generator and a mulitude of other chores. We also got the dash in. Finally to show a little more progress we got the grill shell ready to go on. I suspect tomorrow will be a very long day since it will be the last working day. We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there but He's still planning on leaving on thursday. Hopefully everything will go good tomorrow. Just a word of warning. When you plan on looking at this thing you better wear your shades. Between the bright green paint and the white accents it will knock your eyes out. As I was taking these pics the automatic flash would not go off most of the time.Enjoy the pics.

I just spent the past two days working my way through this Thread.... Totally Awsome build. Unbelievable Craftmanship. You have hit the mark exactly with what you were trying to achieve.

It has me thinking if I should turn my build into a Weezner creation, like my Avatar.
