Here are some of the shots I got while at the Showdown this year. I've heard it several times already, and I have to agree with everyone else that this is the best show. Ever. Where else can you take your old school rod and tear up a dirt track? And to all the nay-sayers out there... Don't knock it until you try it. You only live once, might as well raise hell and have fun doing it. It's only a little mud... that's what they make soap and water for, right?
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. They're greatly appreciated. Spike, are you the one that has that pretty blue open fendered coupe(sorry, I can't remember what exactly it is at the moment-I'm very ashamed of myself, lol)? I have some shots of it, I just didn't post them.
That was me! Its a '35 Chevy Master coupe and Zombie says it looks like something out of a 1979 Street Rodder... thanks boss!! hahahahaha....It IS a pretty blue though... Spike
Excellent!!! I'll post them for you tomorrow. I love the stance of that thing. It's pretty sexy, I'm not going to lie. =)
Ok you win you got the coolest shots. Of my henry J. I have a few good ones but I can't put them up here. Well maybe one thanks for the great weekend too. That's a great shot on your avatar too.
Awww thanks Ed! And what can I say, I'm a professional, I take pictures of cars for a living. I still want to see the ones you refuse to post. Stop fairy footing around and send them to me. I'm glad you like the avatar... there's more to that set, but they're not public appropriate either. =)
Great shots and the Henry J looks wild, I sent a phone movie to my son of you on the track, he loved it! My dad bought one new and I remember riding around in it for several years, that was one tough little car, wish I still had it!
Spike, Here's the pictures I promised you like a week ago. Sorry it took me so long, I've been busy with my "real" job. It'd be nice if I could just run around and shoot for the magazine all the time. =P
