Old news for you, Nads, but here's Harry's Catalina from Los Boulevardos... http://www.losboulevardos.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5563
Yes indeed. Thanks for all the ideas dudes, that 64 is the best, but what exactly is it? I have never seen a color like that, and I don't want to flake the entire car, I'd go mad trying to paint and rub out the coves, a 64 is flat, not a 59.
Chrysler's La Comtesse concept car of 1954: ... there's more pics and info about this pink car in my 1954 Chrysler Concept Car thread.
Don't forget the Dodge LaFemme, only available in Pink and White, as far as I know. A great car for women or gays...."not that there's anything wrong with that."
Is it Pink or purple? I can't tell .....but I wonder what George Barris was smoking when he built this.
This was my Model A. It wasn't supposed to be Pink, It was supposed to be Salmon Orange, but then the painted thought Blue Pearl would look cool and it turned it Pink!
Sometimes pink is the right color. That track nosed '32 3 window with the kinky chop is awesome! Where was that from? Never seen it... (But, wow if there's some 80's stuff on this thread! Aqua heartbeat graphic, anyone?)
Buddy Holly's Impala. I think the color was called rose mist or something like that. Looks pink to me.
My wife's Mom with her first new car...Dusk Rose 1967 Mustang. Bought new at Fred Jones Ford in Oklahoma City, OK. Note the dealer tag in the rear window. Car was less than a week old here!
Here's her Mom again. She's actually pregnant with my wife in this photo. Taken about November 1968 in Macon, GA.
Wife's Mom and Dad with the car 35 years later. I had finally gotten it looking very much like it was the last time they saw it. Her Mom had a great time riding in it again!
