This car was cool as hell. Built in 1948 from and basically untouched since.

This 57 was driven off the showroom floor straight to the Alexander Brothers shop. The original owner still drives it.

This thing was nuts!! The owner told me it would drive over picnic tables, straight up trees, through any type of mud, and it floats!!! Us white folks dig stuff like that.

Thank you so much for sharing the photographs. Absolutely amazing cars, as well as a beautiful venue. The Prock and Howell car is amazing! The original "Prock Rocket"! Jimmy must have learned a thing or two from his dad that's for sure! In addition to this, Ed Roth's "Road Agent"! It is amazing to me that you saw both those cars at the same show! What a show! What a town! Thank you again.

You've got a good eye! Amazing pictures, shows that I can't take pictures worth a crap :)

  14. Fine photo spread, and thanks for the kind words. My brother (he had the black '40 2dr) and I enjoyed being there. The majority seem to either enjoy the car, or didn't understand it.

Awesome pics and thanks for sharing! We always enjoy Billetproof down here in Fla. Are there any more pics of the dark colored Econoline? I saw the face of I in the pic next to roadster and gassers. Many thanks.

That show had some really cool stuff. I hope to see some of you out at Sin's of steel in Davisburg, MI home of the original Billetproof show. Same place and same people as before Saturday June 5th

  19. Great pics!!

Had a great time at the show but didn't get to meet as many HAMB folks as I would have liked to. I guess, since Denise wasn't there, no one thought about having a meet and greet??

Hope to meet some more folks at the S.O.S. show.

I could not get pics of the rust and lichen covered Mercury pick up from Ontario.

Did anyone manage a good set of pics of that machine?

Folks including myself would love to see those.

  27. Gottta get these pics back up - they showed some of the best of billetproof.

Thanks for the kind words Marcy! I was pleased with the response the car received on its first outing. Makes all the work worth it!

James - I saw you at the show and wanted to say hi - but you were gabbin with some old-timer about your banger. I didn't want to interupt.

Hope to run into you at the S.O.S. show.

I paid Photobucket their $2.99 for exceeding their bandwidth, so the photos are all back up. Thanks for the complements everybody. I walked right by about a third of the cars there without a second look. I certainly wasn't going to glorify the garbage rides that people brought out. There was some CRAP there!!!

Looks like a great event. I was looking forward to it but my wife's surgeon decided it was time to fix her back and the plans had to change. I'll be sure to make it next year. By looking at the pictures the new location is a lot more participant friendly.
