Over the winter months transformed my engine bay from a rather dull pile of rust to something a little more shiny. More pix's in my albums.
Those must have been some seriously productive winter months, the most I ever get done is spatulaing my dogs balls of the front porch. What am I saying, I don't have a dog.. That is how productive I am, I just rub a spatula on a blank porch..
But I meant to leave a coment saying how I love what you did, going with the ribbed engine parts on everthing. It is flashy.
WOW!! Flathead utopia! Thats a lot more than a shave and a haircut- 3 pot intake & carbs, aluminum heads, relocated generator, and a whole lot of shiney stuff! If it runs half as good as it looks you have a winner there.
very nice lookin...can you move that wire running across the firewall ?then it will be perfect... great job..
Thanks All. Still dialing in the carbs and it runs great. Here's the start-up before mufflers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0S5E8UM5GE
Beautiful work to say the least. It really looks correct, tons of attention to detail and an overall plan that succeeded.
That's awsome! I was fearing you took the flatty out in favor of something else, you get a big at-a-boy for keeping it!
I saw your truck at the swap meet at Bandimere. The whole truck is cool, and the engine compartment is VERY WELL detailed!
very nice job, winter is one of my best working in the shop seasons, if it wasnt for needing to heat the place it would be utopia
YES, check out my album. A few other things I did over the winter, new wire harness to convert to 12 volt, 3 inch front drop axle, Ford 9 inch axle and springs.
