    Hell yeah!

I usually play a collection of different blues music in the shop. Old BB King, Albert Collins, Albert King, and then newer blues also - SRV, Hendrix (Blues only!), KWS...

  18. I vote for 40's music too.

Love Glen Miller, Goodman, Artie Shaw and all of those other big band leaders of the day. Love Gershwin and Cole Porter. Throw in some retro bands like Squirrel Nut Zippers, Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy, Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums , Cherry Poppin' Daddies and one of my favourties, Louis Prima backed by Sam Butera on sax.

Like it was said earlier it depends on your mood and era ( what you grew up with ) but also if your open minded to new artist...which I am. I found some great new ( to me ) rockabilly artists I like in vegas this year and to someone elses point this has been covered many times before on here ...3 times now since I joined and that hasn't been that long, but in those threads I learned a few things....like rockabilly radio on the net and my favorite now Pandora. I made a channel based on Robert Gordon and it throws some pretty good shit at me. But I like classic rock, metal, oldies, rockabilly....really anything upbeat cuz it takes alot to motivate this machine as I get older :D:D

I prefer Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, John Petrucci. Just need some kick butt pickin to keep me going not a bunch of hollering and screaming to drown it out.
