Event Coverage **Stray Kat 500 May 7,8 & 9, 2010

I think that we should be leaving here at about 9:30 am Friday. Either 3 or 4 cars. Don't know if Jim will be bringing the A or if he will be riding with Bob. Jermey might be trailering (yes, i know!) his 55 there. If he does, you all will have to give him 9 kinds of crap about it! I'm giving him a ration of crap about it! Lol

 

i may have a extra room for the weekend.i reserved 3 rooms and only need 2 ..let me know if you need one.

 

I just canceled my room at the host hotel. I get to work tomorrow. I'm real excited about that.

 

I'm stuck in California. I'm flying out tomorrow morning and driving straight to Dewey and the big party........ Please have one bottle of Bacardi waiting for me chilled.......Oh yea I guess I'll already have that with me. See you guys late tomorrow night.

 

Jimbo here checking in, requesting a weather report. Last year all I had was a paper thin pearl snap shirt and had to brave a trip to the local walmart to purchase a fine fashionable flannel lined jacket for $8.00. The reason? It was 28 degress...and raining. I dont want to repeat this process, so this year Im packing my ski gear and a bright orange survival suit. Let me know what its like up there if possible, over and out.

There are a TON of cars here already. I think that the population of Dewey has doubled this weekend! Lol. Anyone that is on the fence about coming out had better come on, it is an awesome time and the weather couldn't be better!

How did Frank and Tom's cooked pig taste?

 

Not only was the pig AWESOME - the cooker was ingenious - and the people were great - Had enough food but just barely - Don't think Mick counted on such a large turn-out. A great start.

 

That cooker was way cool. I got one little hunk of pig and it was great!

Today is going to be a good time!
