Hey now, I consumated my marriage to the Bee Gees and the Village People.....gives new meaning to "rhythm method".

There was this teeny dance competition going on at the hotel that night, right under our window in the commons area. All we heard was 70s dance tunes all night.

 

FYI...Just wanted to let you all know that someone is dropping a new shiny 50s diner on the south end of tryon in the parking lot of the ascot inn ( no tell motel ) just as you enter uptown. and I also saw an add for a drive in at tyvola/trade I think they had a website charlottedrivein.com not 100% on that website.

 

I seen that drive in ad in creative loafing. I also seen a 50's diner outside my work at the Charlotte Music factory. I think they brought it in from New York.

Thanks Terd! This one will be cool. We are planning on the breakfast, then hang out for a while, maybe a cruise through the country and then head to the Road Rash event at Puckets Farm Equipment.

Should be a funfilled day.

There will be several of us from S.C. coming up for Hotcakes, then off to the Road Rash. Anywhere from 5 to 8 cars... Looking forward to this road trip. Gonna be a blast! See ya Saturday morning.

 

Don't know if I'll make the breakfast but for sure the 1st annual Road Rash!! Glad to see something take over after the ROCKABILLY BBQ ended....See y'all there this Saturday!
