[IMG] I've seen one of these in the Merced area and thought to myself why the hell would someone do that, now that I know that its factory it seems much cooler.

  13. Factory??

No kidding?? I've never seen or heard of that set-up being a factory deal. I'd seen pictures of what I'd call "farmer conversions" before, but never heard of anything 'factory'.

Was it an aftermarket kit? Was it ever dealer-installed?

Can you provide more to the story?

I'm never (quite) too old to learn something new.

    Thanks.

This is my Aussie International Panel Van, 240 CI six with 3 speed column shift. Not sure whether I am going to keep it stock or modernize the running gear with Mopar 318/727.

  17. I believe it was not a factory deal, but available from the dealer, your choice of dealer installed or you take the kit home, but I'm only familiar with Chevy's.

OK, it isn't old, and you might not think it's cool, but it's my daily driver and I love it. Has the 4.7 V8, six-speed manual trans, and 3.92 posi rear end.
