hey, I like how you made these photo posts, care to share? I need to do it one by one from Flickr and it takes forever. Nice event coverage too.

I have been a lurker for a while now. My interests are a little outside the scope of this forum but do enjoy the topics and technical info.

I currently live in northern suburbs of Chicago. I have always been into anything mechanical. Cars and trucks are my main focus but always enjoy tearing into anything mechanical. I grew up in central IL and worked as farm hand for a local farm for 8 years. Because of that alwasy been into trucks and diesels. I own a variety of cars listed below and enjoy all of them. Thankfully my parents still own property down state for I would have to part ways with a few.

I decided to post after seeing my truck mentioned on the site several times. It is the old Willys with the air cooled Deutz Diesel. I know that my truck is outside the focus on this site which is the very reason I have not posted prior. I understand the look and the work that goes into your cars. I fully respect that and enjoy the cars that I see. If you have questions please let me know. I enjoy talking about cars and learning from others. This may not be the correct venue so please reach out to me or I always enjoy talking to people at shows.

No kidding, Mike! I like the grille treatment too. I think those are '50s aluminum trailer wheels. I forget what the name of them is... I'm sure someone will chime in any second...
