I'm still waiting to see some 49-54 Hot Rods!!!!

I have rethought my whole vision on my '54 lately. This is what I am thinking now.....

-'54 Chevy 150 Post car
-Unchopped
-'55 Chevy headlights and eyebrows
-Stock tail lights
-Lowered (a little more up front then out back)
-Dark Blue paint (with White Flames Watson styled maybe)
-Black Steelies with black walled Firestones Or Chrome Steelies with Pin walls
-Trim Rings and Spider caps if I go with Black wheels
-365 Cadillac with Weiand 2x4 intake with WCFB carbs
-'53 Olds rear (if it's the right width
-Super T-10 tranny
-Simple interior with two tones blue modeled after Cadillac interiors
-Welded hood with small peak
-Stock grille with stock teeth

here is my 53 just lowered it a little but

 

Mine is now sporting new color, wheels, and interior. I call it a Hot Rod....

 

not mine but i shot this one at Midnight Mass a couple years ago...

i think this wil fit the bill for ....Big Smokey Burnouts!

Primered mine to roll to the roundup. Still doing some changes and need to finish up alot of things but was fun to finally drive it.

That is the only thing I would do to that car. Very nice.

 

Off the blocks and on the ground. Here's the first night out. There's still a few bugs to work out, but we're rollin'.

 

This one was the first custom that made me go, omg I need to own a classic car. does anyone know whose it is or which garage its from or anything at all?

Dude I love your ride. What are those rear wheel wells off of? I love the fact you didn't skirt the rear wheels and I love Kustoms with your skirts. Your just looks dead on right.

This car getting pretty popular on this thread. I agree, nice. Do you have any more pics, different angles? How about a build thread or some statistics on this rod? How low is the chop etc.....
