Anybody know what car these lights are for?

These were in the back of a car I picked up a bit ago with some other parts,I cant figure out what car there from,are they even worth saving/selling? thanks

 

47-48 Chevrolet Passenger car parking lamps.
The lines would have been painted black originally.

 

Where would they have gone?Was the bumper changed out to another year that didnt have these lights?And by parking lamps you do mean the rear correct?

 

heres the front view.I cant find out where they would go- I believe the grill to be that from a 46 if im correct

Save them, especially if you can find what they are for.

 

yep thats what they are 48 chevy parts. the sedan pictured is a 46 so different grille .47-48 are the same and would use those

Now I got it.the guy that owned it before me put the older 46 grill on it.the car is a 48.Im certain of that.There are even extra holes where the arriginal grill would mount,thats expalin why they were laying on the back seat of the car.Now does any body need a set? im willing to part with them Thanks for the info guys

I think they fit 46,47,& 48 chevy.42 are verticle in grille bar. Roger
