Zach, the corners of the windshield contact the dashrail when it's all the way closed. When I was examining it though, I noticed that the passenger side corner sits about 1/4" lower than the driver's side though. I don't know if it's a difference in the cowl, dashrail, stanchions, or the ws frame. Add it to the laundry list...

Drove it to work today. Need to bleed the brakes some more, they're kinda spongy... I've never had a quickchange equipped car before, are they supposed to be that noisy/whiny in third gear? It goes pretty good though, nice and peppy! No death wobble or anything like that, even with my unbalanced tires. Ran nice and cool, even when sitting in traffic. I think I gotta adjust the clutch linkage a little, sometimes it grinds a little when shifting into gear.

Just in time for national drive your hot rod to work week! Oops, guess I'm about a month early! haha!

Did I miss where you put 36 lenses and rings on what different housings? I want headlights like that on my 27 T Roadster on A frame...

Yeah, not too shabby for 6 months of nights and weekends! I've heard they're noisy, I just hope it isn't this trans whining. Seems to be pretty quiet in first, a little louder at the top end of second, and VERY noticeable all through third. We'll see, I've got about 6 early Ford trans laying in the corner if I need to build one. This one looked spotless inside with no chipped teeth and shifted nice and tight so I changed the oil and and dropped it in here. I'm starting to wish I would have went through it...

Yeah I guess I forgot to mention that! Those are 36 lenses and rings on 35 pickup buckets. Direct fit!

Alright, I'm REALLY going back to work this time!! haha

Not too shabby at all my friend. This really makes me feel like slacker. I've had my '35 for 8 months almost and I am not even close.

Well finish up the loose ends so you can get started on that 303 olds motor for something. I'm building my '32 as a early to mid 50's drag coupe and I need some inspiration.

Damn man, get rid of those new cars and this could be a set from 'Leave it to Beaver'.

Very nice lill' roadster there, why do A body's look so much better on a 32 chassis than a 32?

    Doc.

Haha, yeah suburban hell at it's finest! We're like the neighborhood weirdos, tattooed rocknroller hot rod trash...

I think '32s look pretty damn good on there too!:D But, A's look great because they're a smaller, less bulky, more basic design. Perfect for a hot rod!
