I thought for sure I was going to see pics of the cast aluminum one powered by a flathead starter. (I should have bought the one I saw locally)

That thing is really cool though.

Some very small Radir style tri rib wheels would look cool on it too.

Sweet mower. I need to get something cool like that to motivate me to mow. I freaking hate mowing, but if I had a neat mower like that I'd mow just to show off....

I heard you bumped into my dad & brother. Small world, what you doing way down in Iowa?

Mark, I truly wish I had access to a CNC mill to make some bitchin mini-Radir wheels for that bad boy...I think it needs some metalflake and possibly a pearl lace panel or two, and wrap the hand grip on the handle in red metalflake vinyl, a chrome megaphone, pearl white motor, red metalflake engine cover, some red spark plug wiring with a Raja end and some whitewall tires...maybe some drawer pull knobs for a "grille"?...hahaha...

You aint kiddin', Zerk! LOL. That thing looks for all the world like a '56 Lincoln Premiere. Moriarity...ya gotta make some '50s-style headlights and tail-lights for that thing. Then you could mow at night! Hey, then ya gotta slam it...wait...oh, that wouldn't work very good...grass too short.

    Cool find!
My Grandfather had one just like that. Came from Western Auto he bought it in the early 60's for about $50.00.
It didn't run real well, but sure looked COOL!

  30. Hands down the funniest thing posted here today!

Very cool find Mark, I can see you using it at casa.

Must have been a 50s day, I scored a 1955 10HP Johnson Sea Horse outboard off a radio call in show today, runs like a top and looks like new!
