No one makes fenders in steel, just fiberglass. You'll have to find them used and expect to pay big bucks for anything that's decent unless you stumble across a deal. F-1 fenders, front and back, are hard to find is decent shape without needing some work. F-2 fenders are a little easier to find for two reasons, they were used on F-2 through F-6 models, meaning more sources, and the larger trucks weren't as popular as the smaller trucks so they were scavenged for parts over the years. If you can find a set of fenders for the larger models you can still use them but the wheel openings are a little larger than the F-1's, the only difference. You could close the openings a little with some tubing and sheet metal.

Northern Classic Trucks, www.northernclassictrucks.com, makes a lot of other sheet metal parts for these trucks if you need cab parts and/or box. They just started selling fender bottoms for the '48-50 F-1 but they're pricey, $500 a set.

You can get new steel lower fenders for 48-50 f-1's from northern classic trucks.

I bought a bed off them for my 48 and was really impressed with the quality.

It wasn't cheap but was really nice.

    EDIT:

Thanks for the info guys.....I was afraid of this and was just trying to save the customer some hours since his fronts are in pretty bad shape, oh well looks like it's time to start on some metal work.

Yep fiberglass is the only new option. But if your customer is like most of us then it is not really an option so you are left with finding good old ones or fixing the ones you have. I just went through this for my sons 51 F1.
It's only metal and just work in small steps so it is not overwhelming.
