To Chop Or Not To Chop!?!?!

Well ive been confused for a while now about whether i should chop my 57 Ranchero or not. I think they look stupid when they are chopped to much but im thinking just a nice mild chop... I saw a picture of this one and its exactly how id want to chop it, what do you guys think? does anyone have any info on this 57 by the way? I dont know how to do the poll thing so let me know if you guys think yes or no! (mines the gray one)

looks great as is...and I like chopped cars, but rancheros look great already. and that 54 grill is bitchin'. spend your time and money on paint and interior instead

 

I do like the paint job on the chopped Ranchero though. If want to copy something about that car, consider something similar with respect to the paint. It would look very good on yours.

 

I'm all about cutting stuff up....

But I'd leave that car alone....paint and gut....drive....repeat as needed

 

I have seen a few but, never one in person. I dont like the way they look in the pictures that I have seen. So I would have to say no also

I say no. That Rancho is like a 63-65 Riviera- the roof is proportioned perfectly from the factory. My opinion- it's free, and a bargain at twice that price.

When i see a UTE or WAGON chopped ,I alway's think it looks unproportioned (cartoonish) of course a tiny chop may ad 'that something ' your after!!?? But is it worth it!! If your chasing head-turning KOOL!! You nailed it already!!! So NO!!!!! But only just!

I like the chopped one in the picture also. But...only slightly better. Seems like a lot of work for little reward.
