I set mine so at ride height its at 7 degrees.

Ya its going to be my advertisement car. Ill put Salt Flats Speed Shop above the drip rails, and a Bonneville number on the door.

Of course everything is for sale for the right price. Id hate to see her ever go, but i'd just build another

 

Ive been working on the floor in the car. Ive got my pedals ordered so I can figure out the front area. Then tonight I started trimming the rear floor to have clearance for the rear end. Ill probably go ahead now and get a quick-change so I can get a drive-line and know how to finish up the floor.

Also trimmed off the rear frame horns. Not sure if I am going to bob them up to the body and run a bar across, or leave them off completely. If anything I want to build a bolt in cross-member that has a tailor hitch so I can haul stuff.

what quick change do you think you will go with?

 

Im going to get a Rodsville unit. Then find an original cover to replace the Rodsville one. Ive looked around and for the piece of mind knowing its all new and better material. I just cant go any other way.

 

I thought I would move the car into the middle of the shop. Get a good look at it without the huge hoist underneath it.

I'm one of the ones that gave you a hard time about the chop.
I was wrong. The proportions are spot on.

 

This might just be the perfect 32 sedan. Looks great, keep it up.

How do you plan to fasten the top down?

 

it will be bolted through the wood undernieth with some button head aluminum bolts.

Will the heads be exposed on top? Have you ever seen threaded rivets? Restoration Supply Company sells em, pretty cool hardware. Their catalog is worth a look anyway, lots of obscure stuff perfect for hotrods...

The sedan is looking awesome by the way, SICK, SICK, SICK!!!

 

The ones I'm using have a small smooth button top, and then have a slot screw on the bottom.
