  5. I think the answer to MT's twin engine car shown a few pages back are not a Pony's. I think it is the rarely used early aluminum olds engine out of the F-85 olds. Buick made one also, but these are olds engines,,,I think. MT experimented with these for a short while as did Chet Herbert. In fact Chet did really really well with a twin unblown car on fuel using these engines..

    This was a Romeo Palimedes creation wherein the body lifted from the rear. I wonder if it being injected meant that it was a member of the UDRA injected circuit?

  25. The Mickey Thompson Twin engine (aluminum Old F-85 and aluminum Buick) Dragmaster Dart framed dragster that Jack Chrisman drove was one of the lightest twin motored cars running in its day (1962).
