Tell Bob his buddies in El Paso say Hello! We'll be in the swap meet. Stop by and have a beer, and/or Jack Daniel's with us!

Well.. its was a weird trip.. delayed flights there and back.. all kinds of problems.. huge crowds giving me the fits (i am claustrophobic.. makes we want to reach out and strangle people within arms reach :)) jerks and assholes all over the place.. stolen trucks.. Austin officially now has traffic problems :) ..not a good weekend for that kind of stuff..

did i mention that i hate hippies?

The roundup has the same problem the pileup has.. the crowds .. its a problem.. good or bad.....just has to be one of those things you work with though.. Kontinentals throw a good show.. very organized and smooth.. a high class operation. Top notch people make a show what it is.. cant say that enough. Top notch people... straight up.

Big ups to the Kontinentals on a finely executed show.. it was goooood

What did make the weekend good...

..seeing some sweet cars.. running into Hooch.. HotrodEd (crazy nut).. Gina (didn't see tiger mark at all ) ..seeing Reggie in the swap area.. banging into Tyler on the sidewalk... playing the game "Looking for Bob K".. we saw his car more than him :) Seeing the nicest french Guy ever! Etienne!
Eating at the Salt Lick.. Green Mesquite.. The Shady Grove.. lots of Shiners and Lone Stars... i like tall boys.

Hanging with the Queen, Cadillac Bob, Mark and Erin. and my club brother Sharky and his family.

We done it up right.. "threw a kit" on Austin.

My juices are flowin again.. i have been turned off by the car world the last couple years.. at least the Roundup has stopped me from closing the door on it altogether.

My favorite cars of the day... the ones that "do it" for me..

This shoebox... sits dam near perfect.. a great job with the bags.. good example of relocated shocks... nice touch with the gusseted shock mount bracket. Looks great unchopped.. and love the fact that they went with the stock engine color. That rocks bawlz.. exactly what i had planned with mine.

Yeah .. i should have clarified that... :) "Tall Boys" equals 16-18-22.oz beers.. Lone Stars and PBR's to be exact... although being 6'4" ish.. i would say if i did join the other team.. i would really like "Tall Boys" hehehe

Another of the cars that i really likes..

This coupe is the right proportions.. was put together with great attention to detail.. had a beautiful root beer-ish paint with the perfect amount of flake.
