    Hey, you can dress any way you like. Start a trend.

    Aside from that was all that was manufactured at the time and most families were a one car family, families were larger (more kids and fewer divorces) cars had to be larger. Larger families today opt for SUV's and Suburbans not Toyota's and Kia's. Also, most families today have multiple vehicles.

    The ever growing consumer demand for more power and the government dictating cleaner cars with lower gas mileage created smaller, lighter, cleaner, more fuel efficient, better engineered cars.

    Cool. I imgine that car having a 292 with a four-barrel, 3-speed stick and 4.11 gears. Twice pipes blowing through glasspacks out back.

    I lived in Las Vegas for a brief time. I remember when the Nevada Gaming Commision chained and locked the doors of The Silver Slipper one night because they didn't or couldn't pay a big Keno ticket winner...that was about 1963/4

    I cant believe someone left the grille in it,usually when you see a 54 pontiac in a junkyard the grille and parking lights are gone and the rest of the car is complete.
