Spikes are going and going to fill the bolts. The frenching Idea is good thanks never thought of that.

  2. Yeah, was trying to avoid the whole Packard tail cliche, so I went with something different.
The bumper is definitely getting frenched in. here are some shots of the rest of the car. Sorta not on the topic of tail lights, but the tails got match the rest of the body's styling.....right?

I know that this is a tail light thread but that grill is killer. I kan't wait to see
it finished. Keep us posted with the progress and good luck with the rest of
    the build.

    Happy Trails,

I'd like to see a visor in the front but I also think that a short visor over the back window that would imitate the shape of the hood over the tail lights would be sweet. You could leave the back glass intact, just attach to the existing top and back pilars. Dare to be different!

  8. Yeah those tail lights look good with the rest of the car. I also dig the slanted b-pillars. Though I don't think the whole visor idea would fit the rest of the car. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Looks great in that picture. Can you show us a longer shot of the whole rear 3/4 of the car?

Here's two photos of the back. Once I get the car out of the shop I'll take some better pics that show what's going on back there. Hope this helps...

I think I would be OK if I never saw another 59 Caddy tail light or another SBC!

When we did the T I wanted to do something different. My nephew had a wrecked '37 Chev so I used the tailights of that. Worked out real nice.
