I use a program called Lightwave 3D version 9.6... It's been used in movies and cartoons... I taught myself how to use it over the last few years and I am having a blast. I do keep an inventory of car parts that I have created and so that helps me be quicker in creating sometimes. Also being unemployed and having more time doesn't hurt either... except having no job or money :( . Thanx for all the kind words on my stuff.

Well I'll give this a shot. This is my first time posting my artwork. It's been a few years since I've created anything new. I figure it's time to get back into it. Here are a couple I've finished.

Some commissioned art from across the pond. Thanks Nathan.

A huge THANK YOU to all the artists of the Alliance. What you produce on a weekly basis is nothing less than incredible.
Take it from someone that doesn't have the talent to carry a bucket of s**t across the room without spilling it:D
Your work is very much appreciated & anticipated every Friday.
    Thanks, Al:cool:

Yeah, what Al said. The artwork in these shows is what brought me to these boards in the first place. It's beautiful stuff, folks.

  20. Happy Friday- another batch of great stuff as usual. Amazing stuff, Mr. Norwell. I'd love to be able to get that ink on brush linework look. I need to buy Painter one of these days. Dutch Courage, cool. I have nothing new this week, but since this hasn't been posted before, I can pretend that it was done yesterday.

Jones Foyer - Looks a lot like my what if I did a while ago... Mine was "What if Miller and the Granville Bros got together in the early 30's to create a racer ?" And this is what I came up with... Miller Front Wheel Drive with a radial aircraft engine and aircraft inspired body... Kinda looks like your idea

Man Norwell I love it when you do the pieces like that,,,,,,cant wait to see you at roundup

  28. Very cool Great mix of aesthetics. I'd kicked around doing a radial engined Corsair based car, but the Corsair is gigantic. I would have to have 40" wheels to make it look balanced! I was able to fudge the scaling a bit to make the Messerschmitt work.
