Damn, I love wagons. Have a roof, quarters and doors off a '63 from many years ago. Was thinking about building a wagon from scratch by grafting these parts onto my '65 mordoor. Gotta have a wagon.

Hey Hotrodbuilder, there's a super clean '63 ragtop for sale at my buddies shop in Huntington. Absolutely no rust ever.

  6. Yep, cool cars, as an early teen, my best friends brother had a 67 SS and I just had to have it, they called me one day to buy it and I took a Greyhound bus to get it and drive it home. That was a long time ago and I still own it;). I had many 67 SS cars and then got into 65's, had a few of them including a wagon, had a bunch of nos parts. Today I'm nesting a 65 SS and the 67SS. The 65 is slated for a Nickey straight axle subframe next fall/winter, the 67 is in hybernation since its car show days 35 years ago! I might have to wake it up one day soon. Look at the styling of a 56 chevy and notice the styling of the 66-7 Novas, lots of similarities. The 62-5's to me look best with a gasser build. Thanks for the thread, I like them Novas:D

I have a '63 convert with a 355 SBC/700 R4. It's in the paint shop now getting the color changed from white to Reflex Silver. It's a great little car and a blast to drive.

Got a couple of 63 SS 2dr hardtops. One a full drag car I have built over the last 20+ years and one I just picked up that will probably become a gasser. Put some horsepower in one of these bodys and you will fly.

I love the eary Chevy II's. This is one of the few cars for me that should be the way they were. For example, 62's and 63's should have the 194 in them. You want a V8, get a 64. Havent seen a 4 cyl model in the flesh ever. Always looking for that right 63 Convert to buy. Not one thats done, just a nice driver that needs some work. Well one day..

I've had 13 of them. Still have my 62 vert that I purchased in 84 for $250. I finished it in 93 and now time for a redo.

  16. I hit the Corvair thread with this Corvair roof on a Nova body, Steve Stanford design. Now I'm hittin' this thread also.
If I had the coin and the time, I'd be building this...bonafide "BADASS"!

When I was in high school a guy I new had a '62 Nova convertible that he decided to sell. By the time I convinced my parents to let me buy he'd changed his mind and decided to keep it. One that got away--

You're welcome. Sorry it's not absolutely complete. I got it from a guy, who got it from a guy, whose wife's brother's girlfriend scanned it, or something like that.
