Willy's custom in May Rod&Custom

Just got my new copy and opened to find Janne's concept of a 40 Willy's custom - congrats man!
Just gotta say it looks great. Gassers are cool & all, but I'd love to see this one built.

me too, it looks really cool. never thought of a willys as a kustom, but it might be crazy enough to work.

ahhhh, yes one of top 5 favorite artists drew that, Janne Kutja.
There is one running around New York, i think the guy is a Beatnik.Any one have pics of it?
The red one its a 40 i think.

 

Kutja is a friggin genious artist...brother if you are reading this i want a tattoo of your work.

We need more willys hotrods and customs!

 

I saw that picture, and thought that it was brilliant. Excellent artistry. I think Willys can be made into excellent customs, but they're always thought of as just race cars.

I did a photoshop of a 38 a while back, I really like the concept of a Willys custom.

Seems to be, front tire have different light and notice also shadow of the car.

 

Janne, I loved the design. What a creative new look at a classic! Now, who is going to build one?
