Great work so far this week. jdustu, cool stuff, as usual. I told my father-in-law about your stuff and your website. He's taking a welding class. He loved the site, showed to to the class, and now everyone's talking about it! My contribution: [IMG]

My first post on the Friday Art Show. A good friend Dave Schiemann Sr. helped me welding these trophies this winter. We had a blast. My car club will give them away at our car show later this summer. Sorry about the dark pictures. Gary

...beyond being an amazingly talented craftsman in all things metal, Josh is a really nice guy to boot! Our booths were next to each other at the Deeetroit Autorama and I couldn't have asked for a nicer neighbor!

All my stuff is digital ... All created and displayed it the computer. I use a program called Lightwave 3D to create them. Lightwave has been used in movies and TV shows. I taught myself how to use it and I am still learning things all the time... Just like any art! I am glad you guys are enjoying them... I am always open to suggestions !

  12. These are AWESOME, Tin!

REALLY digging the gold and tan trucks! hits pretty close to home on my concept for project #2.

I'm assuming these are 2D art? Or are they 3D sculptures?

    Happy Friday...Great show already!

This week I decided to redo an old drawing I did 40 years ago! I used to watch a lot of cartoons back then...still do! :D Here's what I came up with.

TGIF - Looks like the BIG GUNS got up early 'round here. I'm trying to finish the details on ELROYDORADO - ELROD for short. There is a tutorial/demo on Motorburg. > C L I C K <

Man these are cool. Would like to see them made into sculpture. Or have you already done that?

    Nice work.

  24. Fantastic. Great concept and execution. Turning the horseshoe sideways and putting them on the flanks is genius.

jdustu, that's the best one I've seen! Excellent!

  25. It has a great analog quality though, even though it is digital. Looks like real airbrush work...neat stuff!
