pics of the new (FREE) project 49 chevy

  1. thought I would post pics before i start to rebuild this car and get it going.

    plans are SBC, round off rear quater windows, fix rear deck area, and finish the welding.

  6. Cosmetics are not a problem ive fixed worse its already set up for a v8 and i have all the parts and hey it was free why not make a low budget cruiser?

    That steering wheel is ratroderiffic (shame)! Judging from those pictures, I think you rescued it, but if the same guy set it up for a sbc, I think I'd redo that too.
    Looks like a pretty solid car though and the price was right.
