Here's a picture of my '37's. I have had the sedan for about 22 years and the station wagon my father bought when it was a year old in September of '38. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I dig the hell out of 'em as my dad's first car was a '37 humpback sedan! He had it for less than a year before enlisting in '42. I hope to build one someday in his honor...
My father used to tell me about the 37 coupe he had in high school! My Grandfather sold it for $35 when he left to go into the USAF in 1952.
Well, my wife sure does. She has a 2dr humpback,sbc350/350,air, cruise, tilt,etc. I got it for her when she shied away from my "kinda rough around the edges" hot rods. Frank
One of my favorite cars is a '37 slantback. I was looking for one of those like crazy before I bought my '32.
Your two door looks like the one my parents had - always liked the look of that car, (first car I drove), nice lines in the front fenders, hood and, great headlights. The wagon is really good as well. You have some fine rides there.
Welcome, Dave. My dad had a '37 humpback when I was kid that I got to drive now and then. I'll try to dig up a picture to scan (before digital, unfortunately). Being from Carlisle, you've probably even seen it, it was at York for the street rod nats for quite a few years. Chopped, low, yellow with orange rally wheels. I always liked '37s. It's funny which cars are popular in different time periods and different localities. At one time, nobody wanted '38-'39 Ford pickups, but now they're catching on some. The '37s haven't always been the most popular body style, but the '37 Ford's '36 Lincoln Zephyr inspired styling, in my opinion, was among Ford's best styling efforts of all time. Lot of nice '37s being built now, and I like both of yours. The '37 has a much sleeker and more aerodynamic look than '36. For '37, Ford got rid of the headlight buckets up on top of the fender and put the headlights in the fender, the split V-windshield replaced the flat windshield of '36. I like '38 Standards a lot, too, and a lot of stuff interchanges between '37 and Standard model '38. They have never been all that popular, but there are two pretty nice '38 Standards that frequent the car shows and cruise ins around here. Last cruise in I went to just up the road from me at Dallas GA last fall, I counted I think maybe 5 '37 Fords and both of the '38 Standards I mentioned.

Man I love that 37 woodie..my parents had a maroon 37 woodie also for years.. Do not change a thing on that wagon....its perfect! Keep it away from the gold chainers..Your wagon has character unlike all these bleached out Ikea woodies running around these days....
Love em. My grandfather had both a 37 business coupe and a 4 door sedan before I was born. So to continue the legacy I've just bought my first, a 37 Humpback Tudor. I think James Hetfields by Rick Dore is probably the best 37 I've ever seen. They're no longer ugly ducklings!
