    Nice job! I would like to have seen the rust damage under the vinyl where it meets the quarter panel. That must have been a bitch to fix. My mom had a caddy just like that, which she used to flatten my neighbor's mail box (& I mean flatten).

    my thoughts as well, some cars just don't seem right to me in flat colors, Buicks and Caddy's mostly....
     
  4. yeah it was a total bitch to form the new sheet metal and everything the rust was pretty bad on both sides of the vinyl top and in the front pillars of the roof and a little around the windshield were it must have been leaking

    the only problem was I got so busy working on it that I never stoped to take pictures of fixing the rust spots and I never got any real good pictures of the car before it was bagged or anything :(

  6. just the stock caddy caps with the caddy logo removed and put on bullet center caps I got from Mooneyes

  10. since its been high 40's past few day I decided to finally pull the car out and take a video and a couple picts of the front of the car because its my favorite part of these caddys..I also put it for sale by the road today, had 6 people honk and 4 thumbs up as I was parking it haha

    Car looks awesome brother! I would leave the stock hubcaps,paint it a nice deep Maroon,do the interior and shit.You will have a killer ride!!!!.Lots of luck with it.

    what brand of paint of paint did you use? i love that black!
     
  20. used PPG matte black and then the red was also PPG but a mixture of red,grey and black to get it to where I wanted and then we threw in metal flake

  30. 1950 Chevy 3600 truck on an S-10 Chassis with full air ride and also a 1954 Ford Hardtop that will all be done in 50/60's custom style
