Old drag street roadster

This car was found on 4-15-94 in sun prarie wisconsin,near madison.The street stuff looks to have been added much later than the build.The license plate is WI 1963,1950 olds engine,1937 Lasalle trans,3 stromberg 97 carbs,Isky full rev master cam,solids and ADJ rockers.The rear axle was Barber pole striped in white and the center section was orange! Any body have any history or pictures of this old dragster? Gary

So, how do you know it has an Isky cam? I sure wouldn't refer to it as a dragster...that's really misleading

I don't know any information of its history, but do you have any current pictures since you rebuilt it? Looks like a nice old hot rod you found. Keep it up.

Looks like you brought back a cool old hot rod and gave it a second life. Very cool!!

Just what I was thinking .Anyway , the biggest change I see is raising the body up to where it matches the grill shell .Looks like most of the old parts were used . I do have to say I'd have chosen different tires , but it's your hot rod . Good job !

after a second look ....i hafta compliment you....i like the long front shocks and the taller windshield....the barber shop stripes are great....just the type of stuff a guy who would build that car would do!

the "as found " pics are priceless....i like his style choice of moving the rad/shell all the way forward...too cool
