Good News........ Our H.A.M.B. friend Rex Rogers did the Fairing for my Tank Project. It should be on the tank this weekend! I will have some test fitting and get it painted . This is COOL............ I will keep you all posted. Ol Deuce
Hey now,... I think that's a great idea !!!!! Would sure a make a nice picture. Ol Duece, The head fairing looks perfect, your guy did a great job. And you should consider doing an exhibition run if you bring her to bonneville. They let people do it if they have a historic car and keep it under 65 mph. You'll have to get someone to film it. Let me know when and if your going to Bonnevile. I'll try to set it up.
Hey Pops! Rex got the fairing done? Cool! Can't wait to see it when I come home. It might be a few weeks till I get a break with school...but soon enough!
This is cool, Thanks for all the support on this project! It's really close and even to drive it will blow me away! Rex did a great Job. A run down the course at 65 would be perfect Spring is coming ~ Look out salt ~ I will post photos next OL Deuce
Great post just now read the whole post, I hope the faring arvives safe and let me know if it needs any changes. I have never sat in the tank at the shop but after reading your thread i think i want to just sit in the darn thing to see how it would have felt to run it on the salt. It would be great to see your tank out there. REx

This is my Friend JacK Costella in San Jose! He is so cool and has more Records & stuff under his belt than any one man should have. ...................................Enjoy................................... ...Ol Deuce
How do you shift? I saw a little bit of the linkage in one of the engine picturse, but nothing in the cockpit.
If you are looking at the salt Snake it was a Motorcycle and had a motorcycle type of shifter. Isn't the running on the salt car Bobs "Stay In School" roadster?
Yes....... Bob has the Stay In School Roadster...I haven't seen it in 2 years.!! If all goes well this year Me, the Tank, and all that counts will be on the salt.
The loss of Cliff was very hard on Jack, they became very close during the build of this car. That is Cliff in the car, what a cool person. I am glad I was able to get to know Him also.........Ol Deuce
