mine-the bottom roller flexed when i first made it but added an extra 25x50mm box section to lower part.just use it mounted in vise as have limited workshop space.originally had a crank handle but that was a pain in the ass so changed to an old steering wheel,much easier to use.made various wheels including one to cut/form louvres.
Here is my friend Al's interpretation of the Harbour Freight basic bead roller. He built it in a day or so of puttering around with some metal that he and I gathered. Note the small wheels on the bottom. They sit above the floor, just tip the thing back and roll it around like a furniture dolly. Works great! Now we have to get down to some serious bead rolling which will help get all those projects that Al and I have moving towards completion. What did you say, you know where there is another project for sale....wait, I'll get my coat.
Metalmeet had a tech about a harbor freight bead roller Driven by a Hf Winch motor I replicated the design and it works well
Heres mine, just a cheapie on a stand,motor was garage sale item ,reversable ,runs 8 rpm,bike chain and sprockets.
I just finished this one 24" deep 1/4 HP 690ft lb torque 98:1 gear drive 3 phase with 110 VFD in 220 3 phase out variable speed foward/reverse pedal adjust 1-1/4 in/out
