Not quite a barn find, but close enough..lol. I`ve been waiting on the call to make an offer on this one for about a year. Itsa 1968 Internationall Travelall, but it`s ok because they used the same body style all the way through the 1960`s. It`s been sitting in a back yard for a few years,I moved it a year ago to get the Scout out from behind it that I was given. I was also told I would get first dibs on this one,and they kept their word. I really don`t want to say what I paid for it though, you guys would have mass heart-attacks!!

It was supposedly originally owned by the Hoover Family, you know...the vacuum people.

That is a very nice looking Harvester. My Dad had a Crew Cab P/U(about the same vintage) back in the day...

I thought it was the ugliest damn thing( would love to have it now though).. but it was 'bulletproof'.

  10. Jim, that is a beautiful Harvester. My friend Dave would love that, he's been a Harvester guy his whole life cause his dad worked for them forever. His dad still has a Scout Traveler ( long wheel base ) sitting in his garage , he never drives it. I'll bring him by one of these days so he can see it , HEY wanna sell it ??? MIKE

  11. Nice. I don't remember seeing any Scout this clean ever, usually they were used and abused. This is an exceptional find.
I see the tow strap still hangin on the front bumper, does she run?

It`ll run. Didn`t know what was inside the gas tank,so we were better off tugging her outta the yard.

I dont care what it is, if it's a true survivor as this is, I LOVE it! They are only original once. I have a 1966 Amphicar with 4k miles on it, stored since 1968 with the 1968 Michigan plates still on it. I love 'em all but I have a special place for true survivors. Awesome find!!

Stuck a battery in it and it fired right up....but the carburetor leaks like a mofo!! Won`t be able to touch it for about a week though,so it`ll hafta sit outside for just a lil while longer.

Need to get the 2 O/T cars finished and out of the garage so the F100 and it`s new garage buddy can go in there.

When I lived in Muskegon, I used to see a tan Travelall almost daily going the opposite direction on my commute to school. They're very cool.

Crazy thing is, by comparison with a modern 4WD SUV, they already look lowered.
