The imfamous V8 Speader Girl II

After all the great response about the Spreader bar hood ornament V8 Girl production is now underway. Our version is fashioned after the pin-up girls of the 50's and will be cast in aluminum and plated. Our initial goal is to produce them in a limited number of 150. The first image below is the original version and the additional pictures are of our new plug without the base or emblem. I will post more as the project moves along. She's got some BIG feet too!

 

Face,hair & tits are just right but the shoes look kinda thick (like old ladies shoes).

 

Her hands seem to be holding the base/radiator cap edge so her legs would be spread forward rather than up and her hair is draping her shoulders like she's standing still rather than blowing in the wild wind like the "V8 Speedgirl" original. Where the heck is the V8 emblem going to be?

The big knobs don't do anything but cheapen the effect as do the hooker heels.

You're doing something that has a market but a slicker classier piece closer to the original would be much more marketable even as a desk ornament, etc.

You do get kudos for putting something out there, its a difficult and costly thing to do.

Call her "Attention Roar™" you know everyone will notice that on on your rod, huh, huh!

The original girl has some mystique vintageness to it, your's is kindy of missing point.

Is there going to me a separately cast "V8"

I'd of just tried more research through magazines or just referenced the original closer.

Also note the nipples and shoes give it a bit of hooochiness- but what do I know?
The hair and facial expression is right off a lowrider airbrush mural.

Though, It might be a hit with the rat rod people and lowrider accessory aficionados, oh and the peeps with chrome girls strattling the hubcap, and truckers!

You post something like this up your gonna get a critique. But don't let this keep your item from going, just felt like speaking my mind.

I think you'll get 150 people to buy in.

 

That is not a valid customer survey unless it was done on dozens of automotive boards with juvenile protections in force.

I'd buy one if it was a more classical Art Deco styled design. I'm not so much into Hustler as an art movement.

I'm only an artist not an art critic, but as an artist I like it. Not all women are the same and if we could all sculpt every one would be different. Art is fun and great art creates emotions, feeling and opinions. I think it's working and I'm sure they will sell. I don't think I would put one on my car, but I do like the art because it has three of my favorite art elements Trashy, Nude and Female. Usually the more buzz the art makes, higher demand it creates.
