I was digging through some old stuff in my parents garage and I found my First Hot Rod. It was bought for me more than 30 years ago by my uncle. Its a Buddy L Roadster. Ill probably get pounded for posting but I thought it was cool.

It's something special, when you happen upon something tangible that helps to explain your eventual attraction to this hobby. It's like, why the heck did I become a hot rodder as opposed to something else? And then...Oh, I see!

Anything that inspired you as a kid or the simple fact that you might of enjoyed it is good in my eyes. Little stuff like this is what motivates or directs kids in certain areas of life, even outside the automotive world...

Man that made me almost cry, I had to go dig out my first hot rod I found under the porch at my parents house when we had to shore up the floor because it was falling in a year ago. We moved into the house in "63" my dad still owns the house. I always crawled under there to play out of everyones way. I guess this car is a HAMB friendly one for sure.

I was curious how many of these things were out there so I checked on ebay and found one just like yours listed on there. Search Buddy L Roadster and you should find it there weren't but maybe 6 on there. There was a pink one like mine...must have been from the 80s.:D
