Eyeball Engineers: We all know them, the guys who have the uncanny 6th sense for judging angles and diameters and distances without resorting to tools.

How good is your engineer's eyeball? Here's a cool online test.

Pretty damn cool! My right angles were off, read the explaination and found my display was set different. Everything else I did good on!

 

Wow that was fun, 5.04, up in the best range range but below the really great score.

Not as good as I thought I was, 3.61, but I nailed the center of the circle.

First try: 3.52 units.


Second try: 2.91

 

thats pretty cool - 5.40 - the triangle equidistance part was my worst part

 

I played it about a half dozen times, the best I could manage was a 4.42.

 

6.41...oh, shut up...trying again.

 

I only did it once this time, but I got 2.41.

being an engineer, I figured out how to cheat part way thru it

I can clean up the shop real good if its not that dirty, and get coffie if its a few blocks away and you have a real cool shop rod.....

I was 1.91 after the first round, but got a final 2.41 without cheating.
Got a few bullseye and slipped twice - Chris RR

 

7.12, so right around average i guess. I was always within .6 of the center, but i am a plumber/pipefiter after all

 

5.19......first try......hope to improve a bit

Try #7......3.20..........I'm done

 

3.20 blew my average by letting go of the mouse on a center circle test, missed that one by 10 units! haha fun stuff
