Well it's been a few weeks but I've been busy! First up, just released...the shirt design I did for Jesse James and the WCC Garage crew is finally available in a limited run and is sellin out fast. It was a fun collaboration and looking forward to more projects like this!

  2. -TECH WEEK -
Last week continued- here's what I've got.
It's a little GT I envisage. Think Jensen, fifties Italian carroseria ( coachbuilding) & hot rod underpinnings.
280- 320 horses & a close 4 or 5 speed- I'td be a good challenge to design and build or have this built. Do it- then drive it . In a race.
I see no great handicap in the skin for a talented & experienced metal shaper (just LOTS of work- symmetry too !)- There is a need to design roof, door, trunk, seat & hood support structures.
Multi Tube chassis, on unequal 'bones & live rear. Big brakes. No computers. No air. MAYBE a radio.
No sentimenal attachment to any one era- this is NOW.

A piece I did for a fuel tank manufacturer, they are going to have the company name engraved in the tank.

It's 4 separate pieces... the French bulldog(Petey), the stainless steel tank, the trailer, and the Harley.

Always a fan of the Purple People Eater. It was a crowd favorite at last year's GNR Show. Here's my take on it. Pete Millar sound effects added for effect.

    Hi

I'm new to The Hamb but I've been looking in to the Friday Art Show for a while. You lot are stupidly talented. I don't really know if this classes as art but I thought I'd join in.

Here's a piece I did for the Chicago Brushmasters. It's being made into a tin sign that will be sold at their Charity auction March 5-7 at the Chicago World Of Wheels show.

Starting to be a nice show!
Here's my charity work of the week. Road Devils Support shirts for Detroit.
I got inspired to do a devil pinstripe face yesterday. I had a hard time coming up with something for the front of the shirt.

Slight delay from last week on the Sins of Speed. I will have them up for sale later today.

I did some concept renderings for Gearhead News here in Chicago. It's a bi-monthly newspaper that covers all of Chicagoland's hot rod events, clubs, racing, etc. Well I got on a roll and gave them too much to choose from, so they are putting it out there to see what is the most popular. They asked for a traditional look. Hey, that's right up my alley!

Have a look and let me know what you think, and of course feel free to vote for my favorite. Hahaha, I mean your favorite. :D

Click here to view all 18 renderings: http://www.gearheadnews.com/stuffforsale.htm

Here are a couple of them.

Experiment with faux metal effects on a non hamb friendly pickup. The engine turning is all done with paint,no bare metal. The chrome trim is my first try at airbrushing chrome. Please delete if it's not on topic with the art show.
