Event Coverage Boston World of Wheels for 2010-NEW INFO!

Hoping some guys are really thinking about doing this- we want a great showing fo our first Motorama room. Come on!

There are some really fun things to do in Boston if you dont want to sit in front of yoru car all weekend AND public transportation that can take you almost everywhere if you dont want to drive.

 

Come on guys how about a good showing?Anyone know of some non-HAMBERs going?

 

Lenny, any type of Pinstriping "Panel Jam", scheduled for the show?

Is this a big show? How many cars do they usually have?

 

I'd like to see our show draw the kind and amount of cars Chicago and Milwaukee does.The show is what you make it!

 

Yea, and it was always cold and most often snowing. I just loved driving the drag car out of there with slicks and snow on the ground.

Just our luck we'll have a blizzard in March.

We'll be there come hell, high water, or a spring Nor'easter.

Yea, I know all about New England optimism. We got crazy weather and crazy sports fans up here.

But one of the worst Blizzards in Boston was on March 12th, 1988. It burried this area.

So... things are progressing well- we will have bands and other cool thigs in the Motorama room- BUT we need great vehicles as the main attraction.

Please consider adding your car into the mix- itsa great time with cool people and it would really be fun....

 

Or just being a realist.

 

Any event is only as good as the cars that are brought to it- so if you want this show to have traditional stuff- Tell your pals to enter their rides... Cant exactly drag the cars out on their own- someone has to bring them in.

Should be a good time.

Lance Ferrell from Milltown is helping us with rides ,bands and stuff for the Motorama room as well as Rick Finamore from the Sho Car Association - both great guys.

 

thank ya thank ya...milltown is gonna go off like the milltown show...comin together very very well....bands are booked.....cars are signin up for the room.....glad this is comin man...ive got the cabin feaver.........

Thats the whole idea of the Motorama room -something different for Boston- New (but old)-Lance will send an update once all the bands are finalized.

Moose- is it finished or still in need of some parts (the pic doesnt do it justice I am sure)?

 

Is it finished? Well, more so now. I put a vinyl roof on, windows in, F100 steering box in, and license plates on. That picture is how it was when I drove it into the Alter Boys show.

How many cars are signed up now?

 

Not sure how many right now. I know the show as a whole has more cars already... didnt mean that as a disrespect.. hope you didnt take it that way...

 

Having been on both sides of the stage in the Expo Center, for both WOW and other stuff, I can tell you live music is a tricky thing there.

OK, well maybe not "to" the show, but I definitely drove it "into" the show

 

Since Lance has probably seen it recently, run it by him to see if he thinks its a good fit for whats already coming in.... Sounds great and thanks for showing interest- hopefully more people are thinking about showing their rides. This year should be mighty interesting!
