I really like the Jalopy Showdown and the Jalopy Drags..two of the best on the East Coast. In addition to the cool rides there was excellent entertainment and good swap meets.

Also, not to change the subject...who owns/built the green and the gold mercs in this pic? Shot me a PM if you know.

VLV's always great, but I vote for the HAMB drags at Mo-Kan. BTW, my ride got rejected at vegas this year, so you all will see me in the parking lot, next to all those fancy "transporters". At least I'm driving to the show.

HAMB Drags this year also had issues of too many cars trying to get in and the highway being brought to a standstill but it happened at 10am, not 1pm.

Haven't been to many shows this year, but Lone Star Roundup was awesome, as it is every year.

If you're asking me which of the shows I attended in 2009 I enjoyed the most, my response would be the Roundup (rainy-ass Friday under the barn and the minibike races made this year especially cool), followed closely by the HAMB Drags (HUGE parking lot shindig Fri night and too much excitement Saturday afternoon!).

Previous/Next year's responses might be completely different, since it's not really a question of which show is always 'best'.

The one I enjoy the most is probably HAMB drags.

Of course there is a little show known as the Straykat 500, but shhh, it's a secret, we want to keep it to ourselves. Besides Mick has enough trouble with the derelicts that show up now.

    My two musts every year.

My son's 4th birthday party/carshow. We had family, friends, food, drinks, hot rods, and Elvis!
