rix right-hand gal here, and one who dearly loves an unadulterated Studebaker. Howsomever...this is a beautiful thing, a fiendish thingy, grass-burner headers, sculpturally elegant and elegantly sculptural. wOW!

....in your garage???? Ha Ha Ha

I think the car might make it to Goodguys indy and that would be about it. It isn't "legal" for Louisville. If you want to see the car, your chances would be best if you stopped by his garage. Bring beer though.

Hey Doc, last I heard your garage was getting a little cramped? When you building a new one?

    Well... that was unexpected.

Until I see some more pics, I'm going to have a hard time deciding whether or not I like it as a roadster or not (not that anyone gives a shit about what I think), but dammit, the pics from page one and the latest roadster pic, well, there's just no comparison.

Wow, after all that work?! Is he going to make the roof into some kind of hardtop?

I never did see his '39 finished. I was hoping he was bringing it to the Pileup instead of the Stude.

Yeah the 39 was finished, then he blew the rear end out of it. That is why he brought the Stude up to the pileup....

Russ called me and told me that he had his his head on the roof for the last time, he then cut the top off. ha ha ha

I like it better as a coupe though.

  20. Agreed. I'd have to see more but judging solely from your picture it seems to have lost some identity without the roof.

  21. Why can't some folks know when to stop....then start another, different project?
