I am actually a fan of the name Hudson. I like that not to hard to say or spell and I have seen some cool rods made out of Hudsons.

I'd go with Ford or Hudson.

No offense to anyone but Mercedes sounds like a strippers stage name to me.

And naming your kid Rod, Tyrod or Elmer and you're just asking for a lifetime of humiliation for that poor child. I would probably kick my father in the nuts if he named me freakin Tyrod.

Think about something he can say with some sugar to a lady or with some chop to a man when someone asks his name.
think about standing at the mailbox and shouting his name 3-4 blocks out at dinner time...

    Heb Walker northcott (hey Heb!)
    John Kaiser Northcott
    Lincoln Jeffry Northcott (Hey linc!)
    Lawrence Salvatore Northcott (Lasalle)

If I was wanna be kid I'd follow a Hud or Heb Walker Northcott like a duck
    Gotta good friend named Dayton.

I got a good Ideer what not to name him. I used to work with this guy, he was pretty cool but he hated his name. Les Mann.
he started talking one day about changing his name and he was pretty excited it was going through... we asked him soo...what your new name going to be?
    Humphry!
the room got sooo quiet...Blink.... Blink
about a minute later he broke the silence and said what's wrong with that that's my middle name?
He hated his name sooo much but he loved his folks soo much too he didn't know what to do.

I knew a guy was pretty cool his real name was Ronald Mcdonald. He'd be about 40 now. He was kinda big and when he got mad he'd turn purple They nicknamed him Grimmace.

good Luck man wish y'all the best

I always think babies always look like E/T. Good name E/T, might grow up to be a Drag Stripper. He'll start off as gasser.

I wanted to name my youngest son(now 23) James Dean Harrison.
Wife was having none of it!Had to settle for Michael Dean.
Be carefull what you name him though as he has to live with the name.
There was a kid at my school called Neil Down!:D
    Cheers,
    Mark

  24. Our middle son is Matthew HUDSON Venza.
To answer the question, I would go with Wally, as in Parks or Andrew in memory of our little Canadian buddy.

My son will be three in April. Wife and I picked out the hot rod name of Revin and named my son that. Haven't ever really ran into anyone who didn't think it was a pretty cool name.
