  7. If the frame is tubing not two channels weld together it is worth pulling it out. I have heard these called Calif. frames and are supposed to better frames. Had one under a '55 two door post I had.

Buy some quarters & some door skins, a new front clip & you are in business. like a lot of the guys already said, solid frame & floors and you have a damn good starting point. if it was a 4 dr, maybe cut it up but a rolling 2 dr hardtop would sell pretty easy if you even wanted to just flip it & make some $$$

  10. DAMN.. BEAT ME TO IT.. Oh.. If you wrap the buffer in dryer sheets...........

There looks to be some goodies left on it... Goodies are goodies......

Why not leave it there? If you have memories of going back to see if its still there.Others may be having the same memories.

It looks like some of the seat springs are still there. If they are original 2 door hard top springs, they are big bucks.

If you could at least get it built into some type of driver again, these (Before) pics and story would make it twice as cool.

Damn, I'd take it and put it on the roof of my shop....that would be killer. Just leave the bitch like it is, sit 'er on some wheels, and put 'er up on da rooftop......Hell, next year Santa would enjoy seeing it, and then each year as he came back he would be just like you wondering if it was still there!!!

Well if it was me in Your shoes I´d see if the landowner let me take it away, get it rolling on axles and then study carefully what exactly it would take to bang that roof back to shape...Banged up as it may look, still a dry-metal Sport Coupe -structure with what looks like all the HT-spec hatches, roof trim and moldings still with it HAS to amount to something...(?)

I could use some of the floor, hell if it was close enough I would be trying to own it. I am funny that way taking stuff like this and turning it into something.

hell I'd take that home and spend my free time welding up bullet holes, after a couple of years you might have something.

There are probably some convertibles with the bottom half rotted off that could really use that. Too bad it's shot up so bad, but I think it's worth dragging home.
