i remember coming here with my dad when i was younger, out of curiosity i road my bike up here to check it out and sure enough its still there, thinking about towing it home just for the hell of it.. Check it out.
#What would you do with it once you got it home? Not much there. Maybe talk off what's left and junk it.
neat car, is that just off Paradise road? be sure to talk to the property owner before hauling it off.
thats just sad.....it had to have been stolen and stripped. That frame looks like it could be used , I always hate to see any car much less a classic like that raped that bad.
Hardtop doors with no rot holes are worth a good buck or two each. You could probably cut it off all the way around about mid-body and sell the frame and entire floors if they're usable.
There's plenty of good stuff worth saving on it. Drag it home. Doors are expensive for them, the frame , vent window frames, the dash and the exterior window trim is all worth the trouble and anything else you find
sad to think its a stolen dumped car. id take it home if the property owner was cool with it. theres still a lot salvageable.
That is sad But maybe if it was tipped back over with the correct flowers and a few road signs it would be nice yard art. Thanks for sharing the pictures though...
Rustfree frame looks like a keeper. Full floorpan (Chinese reproduction) is about $1200, repop trunk pan is around $600, so what's good clean original stuff worth ? Not to mention all the small stuff. Maybe in CA they don't rust but in the rest of the country they sure do. If that carcass was here in NH in that condition there wouldn't be enough left to scrap when I was done cutting off all the usable bits.
i'll take it. 2dr hd top try to find, mabe a good project for a young kid with alot of ambition. i would have killed for one when i was a kid and still would[ i think]. all i'm saying is don't send another one to the crusher ,or i like to call it [the devil] alot of parts avail for them so give it a second chance. mabe i'm just stupid?
I would definitely get it, if the land owner says you can have it. The floors and braces are probably solid, that alone would get that car built with parts from a rusty donor car around here.
If you can get legal title to it, I've seen people start with worse. And the price is right. It'll take time and would be a learning experence, if you want that. The roof and quarter panel are the big ones. Roger
