I have to say I wish I could end this decade driving the same car as I started it with, a 1967 Camaro RS. While its OT it was still a sweet ride and I wish I had it back. Have had some other cool ones since but its still my favorite ride. Started this year with another OT 80 Cutlass, not a bad car with only 60k but had the stupid 265 making it officially the GUTLASS Cutlass! Will end the decade/year out with yet another OT Cutlass but this time a decrepid 83. I have had as many as three that were running and tagged at the same time but oddly beginning and ending this decade with only 1.....lots that are not runners or tagged that we won't get into!

Somebody tell me they have a better story and a cooler DAILY!?!

Started the decade with a '66 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. 383 Stroker, NV4500 5 spd, Air Locker, lifted with 33x12.50x15's, full cage, racing harness, etc....(Pic is with just 31's on it). Am ending the decade with a bone stock 54 Chevy with only 51,000 miles on it. Still have the 52 chevy pickup I started and still haven't finished!

I was self-employed in the later 90's and in 2000 was still driving my service truck, a '98 Chevy Venture. I hated it but in retrospect it was one of the most comfortable and useful vehicles I've ever owned.

As we approach 2010 my drivers are a '55 1st GMC Suburban, an '85 Corvette and a '91 K2500. Unfortunately I don't drive any of them because I'm temporarily disabled and not supposed to drive.

Started out with an '82 F100 Flareside pickup, which had a really wicked 300 straight six in it... and am ending with a '95 F150 with a stock 300 in it. Daily econo-car is a '67 MGB GT in Old English White... weekend driver is a '62 Willys pickup... and project cars are the wife's '64 AMC Typhoon, and my '58 Studebaker Commander hardtop.

I'm happy with the way this decade ended.

My project in 2000 was a '62 Impala SS, there have been several since but I'm ending the decade with my '55 Stude and a '66 C10. I'm fairly certain I'll end the next one with the Stude too. The truck? Who knows.

Started out the decade driving my '41 Willys truck(nose down)-finished my 32 5 window about 3 years ago and have a '37 willys sedan project in the works-I had a daughter in the middle of building the 5 window and its getting to cramped with all three of us in it.

Started with a 78 Dodge and 93 Dodge trucks for work. Still have them. Had a 86 Dodge conversion van for personal use in 2000. Sold it in 02 and got a 96 Jeep Cherokee. Still have it, it's a good 'un! :) Also still have my 67 Coronet R/T and 64 Fury hobby cars since the 70's and 80's. And I got a good Christmas present. My Dad gave me his old 66 F 100 that he bought when I was a kid! He retired it when he got a new F 100 in "90, and it has been stored in his barn since. (Can I claim a barn find? LOL) This is all of my current "drivable" stuff. The 37 IHC panel truck is waiting it's turn...........

I think some of you are fudging a little bit! NitroFC do you really drive that every single day? Right now there are about 6 inches of snow in my area, wouldn't stop me if I had something good! Drove a Vette while it was snowing about 8 years ago. The 67 Camaro I started the decade with I got a written warning for spinnin it out in the snow exactly 10 years ago! Mine are a car first, art/expresion/collectible/irreplaceable second!

I still got my family car, a 1997 Chev Venture van. Put lots of money into it last couple of years, but still like it and plan to keep it awhile yet.
Started out 2000 with a 1979 BMW 320i hobby car. Got sick of working on it and cost of parts, I got smart and got back into old American cars again. Got my '64 Acadian and I plan on keeping it a long long time...

Started the decade in an 86 Jeep Comanche. I loved that tough little truck, but alas, I am a large mammal and it was just too small. Bought a 97 Yukon 2dr, and started the year driving that. I traded that for my 66 Newport which I plan on finishing next decade with.

Started in a 1981 Camaro and ending it in my 1950 Chevy Sport Coupe. Yes, a true example that we get better with age!

    OK, don't remind me....

On the 1st January 2000 I walked to work. I'd sold my flatback Ford Prefect project when we moved to Queensland in the early 90's and had never replaced it, raising 5 kids, mortgages etc.

Late this year I sold the Triumph 2500 sedan I'd modified/restored over the last 5 years, the only car I've actually onwed and driven in the last decade, so when I go to work on Monday....

    I'll be bloody walking again!

But there is a hotrod in my future... Somewhere.

Cheers and a happy new year to all.

    Glen.

I started out 10 years ago owning the 54F100 project I'm still working on. Back then I owned a GT3 Pinto and raced in SCCA and Midwestern Council races and spent very little time working on the 54.

Now the 54 should be done in 2010, I have a low milage rust free 62-1/2 Falcon wainting to be next followed by a 28 Chev 2 door sedan.
