What a great forum the HAMB is for me already, it keeps getting better... I've noticed lots and lots of Dutch HAMBers as well, which is always great...

I've thought the kustom scene in the Netherlands wasn't as big, but maybe i'm wrong... Wouldn't it be great to get to know eachother and help each other out on addresses to get parts, help with projects or kustomization and maybe organise some monthly minimeets to make our hobby more known and be able to spend some more time on it?

So, for every Dutchie out here, speak up!

Iedere NLer, meld je hier! Tof om te zien wat iedereen rijdt, waar iedereen zich mee bezig houdt en wat iedereen zoal kan en wat voor connecties iedereen heeft!

Well, a 52 Desoto with Hemi is always interesting! I've mailed you!

Elspeet? Not familiar with that place... but it's Holland, everything is closeby, probably everything is in 100-150 miles reach! :)

    Hello,

I'm Martein, and I have a project Model A (1928) and Lincoln V12 Flathead for it...
Engine is seized, so will rebuild that this spring...

Once I finish my current project (not hamb-friendly ;)

    Cheers,

    Martein

    Hi Melvin

You would be surprised how many HAMBers live in the Lowlands

My name is Leen and live in te Hague

    Toys are:

    The '34 on the left

a '31 Chevy with a French flathead, that's gone look like a Ford... I hope it will pass the RDW tests this winter. And after that, a little grinder attack.

a '51 Pontiac project, daily driver with Mega Squirt on LPG (some day/year..)

and if everything fails the '62 Citroen from my wife

Come on guys show your Dutch stuff

Wow mean lean, you have some great projects there! Especially the pontiac seems a real nice car, and you're planning on daily driving it or do you already drive it everyday? And how about today? -7 degrees (C), is that doable for you?

My 50 chevy is on LPG as well, installed a Velleman transistor kit for the ignition... But I let it overwinter in my garage! No 'pekel' for my ride, however, would be cool to drive it all day though!

Where do you get your parts? Do you have more info on the pontiac somewhere?

Yes the Pontiac will be a daily driver, I will not give it a mega Euro paintjob, just a few rattlecans of Rustoleum will do the trick. I will lower it a couple of inches and put a 305 Chevy with gas/LPG injection in it. My last daily driver was a '59 Ford Wagon, I drove it for 8 years every day.

I bought the Pontiac in Holland, the former owner died in 1995. He started the restoration but did not finish it. He took some parts to a chromeservice, but no one know which one. So if someone out there in Holland see some finished chromeparts of a '51 Pontiac, please let me know. Here are some pics

The best place to buy parts is Ebay. Due to a cheap (sorry US guys) Dollar it is very interesting. I bought the visor for the Pontiac for just 350 Euro.

That's one great looking wagon you had there! And the pontiac is REALLY nice... you would be a real idiot if you would spray rustoleum over a new coat of paint (really mean it :D)!

As for the chrome, i sent you a pm!

Yeah, it might be a waste of some good Rustoleum in case it might burn up and wrinkle... :D

    Hydroshawn,
This weekend? Mostly snow I think ;)
I've got my garage a couple of miles north of you right between Rotterdam and Zoetermeer. If you're bored this weekend you're welcome to pop over for a chat if you like.

Here's some of my mostly fullsize stuff...
